Planning Paleo meals can be hard, especially if you’re used to grains or beans as staple foods. It may seem difficult to plan out your paleo meals every day without getting bored with the same flavors over and over again. That’s why I’ve compiled a list of the 21 tastiest paleo recipes that are easy to make and will have you eating paleo every day of the week.
1. Apple Cider Paleo Donuts
This recipe for cider paleo donuts allows us to enjoy this treat while sticking with our paleo diet. Apple cider donuts are commonly found at farm stands, primarily in the autumn, and usually accompanied by glasses of hot apple cider, but this recipe is perfect for the morning with a hot cup of coffee, or even apple juice if you want to stick with the theme.
2. Paleo Egg Muffins
The cool thing about these “muffins” is that they won’t give you a sugar spike and crash like a regular muffin would – they’ll give you sustained energy, they are savory instead of sweet, and they are quick to grab and take with you on the go. They are packed with protein and veggies, super easy to make and totally customizable. They are pretty perfect among paleo recipes if you ask me.
3. Apricot Power Bar
Apricot Power Bars are a great grab and go breakfast or the perfect pick me up on the way home from the gym. Paleo-friendly (with dark chocolate, or no chocolate at all), I’ve made these gluten free bars each and every way. I love apricots because they are just a bit lower on the glycemic index than other dried fruits. Further, they’re high in vitamin A, vitamin C, tryptophan and full of good fiber.
4. Avocado, Kale, Peach Smoothie
The healthy fats in the avocado will help you to feel full and energized until lunch. Avocado also creates a really light, fluffy smoothie that’s fun to drink. I really like this smoothie, but if you prefer a sweeter smoothie, then you might want to add a little honey so you enjoy this one, as it does taste on the “vegetable-y” side. It almost tastes like a cucumber, despite there being no cucumber in the drink.
5. Bacon and Heirloom Tomato Frittata with Basil
Bacon and Heirloom Tomato Frittata with Basil is the perfect way to showcase not only the full-bodied flavor of heirloom tomatoes but their beauty as well. Before you enjoy the last days of summer fun, whether it is something relaxing or something exciting, you can fortify yourself with an amazing breakfast that is almost too beautiful to eat…but not quite.
6. Banana Bites
This is, without a doubt, one of the easiest paleo recipes on this list, or any list for that matter. Perfect for those nights when you’re craving something sweet, but don’t want to ruin your diet with a bad decision. Simply cut up a few bananas and add some almond butter. Smush another banana on top to make one delicious and quick breakfast or late-night snack.
7. Banana Vanilla Bean Pancakes with Mixed Berry Compote
This sweet treat is a perfect way to start your day with a ton of energy! Compared to the other breakfast paleo recipes on this list, this one has a few more ingredients, but when you make your first batch it will be worth it. Just the smell of these pancakes alone will have you bookmarking this recipe for many future uses.
8. Chinese Chicken Salad
This is one of those, open the fridge to find that it is almost bare, but I am too lazy to go to the store, so hurry and make something fabulous out of nothing paleo recipes. This is a perfect throw together meal to use up a leftover rotisserie chicken, which is what the creator of this dish did! So tasty and easy to make. You’ll be impressed with yourself!
9. Thai Pork Lettuce Wraps
The times when you could just put together a sandwich is over and it’s not always an easy task to find a simple alternative, but the fact of the matter is that it’s still quite simple. You simply need a little more imagination and creativity. This recipe is the perfect example. An amazing Paleo lunch or a quick and simple dinner that all the family will enjoy. People will be begging you for this recipe.
10. Italian Sub Roll-Up
Paleo, low-carb sandwiches use the lettuce as the “bread”–that makes no sense since lettuce breaks and tears so easily. So why not use the meat – since it is the most flexible component of a sandwich – as the “bread” and put the lettuce and all the other goodies in the middle? Roll these bad boys up in some wax or parchment paper and you’ve got a portable lunch.
11. Basil Avocado Chicken Salad
This is one of those paleo recipes that just seem to easy to make, but it’s true! Little ingredients, quick preparation, and delicious flavor combos make this one of my favorite paleo recipes out there. The creator of this recipe even gives you some helpful tips on how to cook your chicken breasts easier. How thoughtful!
12. Cuban Brisket Taco Bowls
This combo is a particular favorite of mine. Shredded brisket meets pickles meets all the guacamole meets oranges and garlic stuffed olives. Oh, and hot sauce–because, yes. But, the creator of this recipe says that this bowl of food is merely a suggestion. She doesn’t want to tell you how to use your juicy, spiced up shredded brisket. “I mean, if you wanted to make it into these taco bowls, I wouldn’t discourage you at all. But, feel free to be inventive. Add salsa, mango, and your hopes and dreams.”
13. Broccoli Chicken
This Quick and Easy Broccoli Chicken recipe comes together in about 15 to 20 minutes. This recipe does have a bit of an Asian flare to it, but not overly so. Likewise, the addition of hot chili pepper flakes gives it a bit of a kick, but nothing that will have your taste buds resent you! An easy lunch recipe to follow for sure!
14. Spring Cobb Salad with Raspberry Vinaigrette
Don’t think you have any time to make a healthy lunch? Think again! Prep the ingredients for this Spring Cobb Salad and arrange it in a mason jar for easy access during the week! This recipe is super creative and it looks great! There are also other delicious-looking salad recipes before you get to this one, so feel free to check those out too!
15. Honey and Sesame-Glazed Chicken Breasts with Green Beans
Sweet honey and toasty sesame team up for a flavor combo everyone at the table is sure to love. Serve with precooked brown rice for a quick and easy side to soak up the sauce from the chicken. Mark down those ingredients, head to the store to buy what you need, then simply watch the instructional video show you how to make this delicious dinner.
16. Beef and Broccoli Stuffed Sweet Potatoes
Russets aren’t the only spuds worth stuffing. Smoke and heat, achieved with chili powder and ground red pepper, work particularly well with sweet potatoes. This makes for a great paleo main dish, or cut them smaller and serve open-faced as a Super Bowl-style appetizer. Your family will also be stuffed after this healthy meal because they won’t be able to help but eat as much as they can!
17. Creamy Sweet Potato Soup
This creamy low-fat soup gets its creamy texture from pureed sweet potatoes and goes perfectly paired with a light sandwich or salad. Since Creamy Sweet Potato Soup can be prepared quickly, in just under 15 minutes! Feel free to garnish this mouth-watering dish with parsley, if desired. One of my favorite paleo recipes to make for dinner.
18. Blackened Steak Salad
Steak-centric salads are a staple of the American gastropub menu. Unfortunately, the “salad” interpretation is a bit loose—the lettuce merely a bed for an extreme serving of protein, the butter-yellow croutons, tons of cheese, and creamy dressing blanketing all. This recipe keeps the chargrilled steak then tops it off with good-for-you avocado and a vinaigrette that complements the vegetables rather than disguising them. This change not only make it healthier, but it keeps the whole dish paleo-friendly.
19. Shrimp Cauliflower Rice
This flavorful paleo bowl is an easy and healthy way to liven up your next dinner. Topped with hearty shrimp and loaded with aromatic fresh ginger, this is a weeknight meal that the entire family can get excited about. Forget takeout because this quick skillet dinner is super straightforward and comes together in minutes.
20. Paleo Crispy Chicken With Honey Garlic Sauce
It might seem like a skill reserved for professional chefs but making perfectly crispy skin chicken is actually easier than you think. The secret? Fry it slow and steady. In this recipe, you’ll see how to make delicious, succulent crispy skin chicken thighs with honey garlic sauce vegetables. Your partner will love this as a date-night dinner dish.
21. Simple Sweet Potato Noodle Pad Thai
Pad Thai is definitely a guilty pleasure of mine when it comes to Asian dishes, so finding this recipe was a dream come true! Obviously, sweet potato noodles are a bit different than rice noodles. There will always be a place in my heart for the traditional version, but I do love the ease of sweet potato noodles, and the flavor as well as the nutrition can’t be beaten. Make sure to add this to your favorite paleo recipes – I will for sure!
